On the second Monday of most months at 7.30pm men of the church and those not yet connected with us, get together for all kinds of social activities .
Lasting for about two hours, it’s a mix of entertainment and Christian-based fellowship, either on our premises, or elsewhere. In the past year, activities have included archery, snooker, Treasure Trails, and nature-trail walks. Additionally, as well as receiving speakers on a variety of subjects, visits have been made to East Anglia Air Ambulance, and the local Fire Station.
In addition to social evenings, the Fellowship has formed a singing group, with men singing in three-part harmony. Led by its director, Mr John Ablewhite, who for many years has led Christian based male voice choirs, we rehearse for special church services, such as Festivals. No previous experience is required, and no auditions are necessary. So, if you like the idea of joining a male voice choir, why not come along and meet us, or otherwise make contact with us? At the moment, we number around 12 – 15, and there is room for more!
Our co-ordinator for Men’s Fellowship is Mr Ivan Harwood.
